Advertised Job Summary
Assisting on multiple physical activity, sedentary reduction, or weight loss research studies in adults with arthritis or knee replacement in the Technology and Behavioral Intervention Lab, the Research Specialist will also assist with the recruitment and screening of participants, conducting in-person study visits and telephone coaching sessions, developing study materials and data management. Some state-wide travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years related research experience, or high school diploma and 6 years related research experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with research studies and understanding of UofSC policies is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Individual must be able to work independently and take initiative to plan upcoming activities. She/he must be highly organized, professional, flexible, and a team player.
