The Dotti lab seeks a Research Instructor to conduct experiments in uncovering the role of the tumor microenvironment in hampering the effects of CAR-T cells. Specifically, work will implement tumor models in immunocompetent mice and test measures to improve the antitumor effects of 3rd generation CAR-T cells. Specifically tumor bearing mice will be lymphodepleted and treated with conventional CAR-T cells versus CAR-T cells further modified to counter tumor-associate escape mechanism. The project would require significant skills in mouse modelling and CAR-T cells related techniques. Multiple assays will be applied to study the function of CAR-T cells and their molecular and signaling characterization. The position also involves mentoring technical staff and postdocs and a minor role in lab management.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in mouse modelling and CAR-T cell technology.PhD in Cell Biology or related field
