Department SummaryAIM-AHEAD Coordinating Center: Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Consortium to Advance Health Equity and Researcher Diversity.
Position OverviewThis person will work collaboratively with the directors of existing organizations and new sub-awardees from the regional hubs within the AIM-AHEAD Leadership/Administration Core
within the AIM-AHEAD Consortium.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree and seven (7) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Preferred QualificationsDegrees in one or more of the following:
  • Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Information Services
  • Higher Education
  • Masters preferred
  • Project management experience in health care industry
  • Current PMP certification
  • Experience working with government entities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
  • Data Skills and Analysis
o Interpretation
o Presentation

Job Duties

oCreate and manage sustainable business strategies for identifying, assessing, and developing new contractual research opportunities directed toward private sector business entities and other partners

oMay consult, collaborate, and develop research testing services to sub-awardees
oDevelop coordinated strategies to integrate new sub-awardees into the AIM-AHEAD Coordinating Center
oCreate business development strategies for seeking and assessing opportunities for AIM-AHEAD
oIdentify and assess prospective partners such as professional societies, organizations, and institutions
oCollaboratively develop integration strategies for partnerships with AIM-AHEAD
oContribute to collaboration-based short-term and long-term AIM-AHEAD organizational planning and strategy
oBuild synergistic teams among members of the AIM-AHEAD Coordination Center
oLeader in project management, budget management, and working with nationwide teams
oAct as a translator between technical groups and stakeholders
oParticipate in the fiscal management of the AIM-AHEAD contract programs
oResponsible for gathering requirements with stakeholders, understanding the project needs, and communicating development progress to the stakeholders over time
