Summary
The Repossession Coordinator is responsible for all functions related to the repossession of United Auto Credit collateral, including maintenance of the location and operational status of GPS/Starter Interrupt devices installed in vehicles financed by United Auto Credit. All position responsibilities are to be completed in compliance with United Auto Credit policies and procedures as well as all federal, state and local regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Entry and transmission of approved field chase assignments into specified vendor websites.
- Monitor and document field chase results on applicable accounts in Shaw Collections system.
- Monitor accounts assigned to license plate recognition vendors, and cancel assignments as payments are received.
- Administer “Ping” requests for GPS/Starter Interrupt devices, and document results on applicable accounts in Shaw Collections system.
- Enable and Disable GPS/Starter Interrupt devices with appropriate documented approval authority.
- Timely documentation of repossessions including:
- Entry of repossession date and fees in Shaw Collections system.
- Transmit notification of repossession via the Repo Notification System (RNS)
- Update account status codes as required in Shaw Collections system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Language Ability
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in person, in writing and by telephone.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
Computer Skills
Experienced in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel and Internet applications
