Job Description
Position: Renewable Energy Consultant
Compensation: Salary+Commission or 100% Commission
As a Renewable Energy Consultant for Simpleray you will be responsible for reaching out to businesses, farms, schools, municipalities, and discovering if solar is a good investment for them. You are expected to generate your own leads through existing relationships, partnerships, and self prospecting. Simpleray’s inside sales team will help generate leads, follow up on existing leads, as well analyze bills and do data entry. You’ll work alongside our operations & engineering team to gather information from a client’s site, craft the perfect solar proposal for your client, and then finally present the proposal along with custom financing options. Familiarity with technology and using a CRM are critical for success and integrating into our process. For consultants with a proven sales background, a base salary is available.

- Communication with potential leads via email, phone, text, and on-site visits.
- On-site assessment of location to prepare preliminary assessment and quote.
- Answering customer questions related to: * How solar works to generate savings
- Cost of Solar
- Financing Options
- Tax Benefits
- Grants Available (for select situations)
- Procurement & Installation
- Updating our CRM system (Zendesk Sell)
- Adding photos and relevant documentation through our engineering platform
- Communicating with our operations team via Zendesk, Slack, and Email
