The Opportunity

The Relationship Executive is a member of the sales organization and his/her role is to expand the SimpleNexus business opportunity in the customer through upsell, cross sell and add-ons selling activities. He/She is responsible to ensure that the customer is deriving the most value possible from our solutions and that the investment they are making in SN is sustainable and drives ROI. This means working with customers to optimize adoption of licensed SimpleNexus products and services. He/She develops and expands C-Level relationships as well as establishes trusted advisor relationships with all key decision makers, strategic leaders and top-producing Loan Officers. He/She works to align our solution implementations with the clients’ strategic business plans. This requires an industry-based consultative approach and can include but is not limited to education programs, product strategy collaboration and continual reselling of the value proposition aligned with the customers’ business goals. They must represent the customers’ requirements, ideas and concepts to SN product management and services teams. In partnership with the CSM, the RM sets short and medium term account strategies, drives product and feature adoption, manages contract renewals, conducts business development, and introduces SN internal resources and service offerings as needed to meet the client’s needs and maximize revenue.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Expand the partnership to be the key trusted advisor across all product disciplines served by SN.
  • Provide operational expertise and guidance on industry best practices.
  • In partnership with the CSM, coordinate all strategic communications to the customer
  • Responsible for the customer’s overall satisfaction and revenue retention
  • Drive adoption and maximum usage of the product to provide maximum value to the customer
  • Develop strong relationship with recruiting management within each customer to attain line of sight in advance of all new LO onboarding, develop custom tailored training sessions to ensure adoption and retention
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business model, company direction and strategic vision in order to position SimpleNexus as the Homeownership Platform for their initiatives.
  • Educate the customer on SimpleNexus products, roadmap and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate resources such as SN Executive Leadership, Sales Leadership, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, Implementation Services, and Project management as needed to meet customer’s requests and needs.
  • Build and Maintain relationships with all key Stakeholders, Executive and C-Level decision makers.
  • Must develop a deep knowledge of the SN platform and possess the ability to demonstrate key functionalities of all SimpleNexus products to help customers understand their value.
  • Oversee license renewal processes and negotiate renewal terms.
  • Build and deliver proposals with potential ROI impact to ensure we are meeting client needs in mutual best interest.
  • Identify and close Cross-Sell and Up-Sell Opportunities within their customer accounts.
  • Prepare and track reports on customer adoption and use trends.
  • Carefully document client interactions and activities in SalesForce and other methods as needed to provide insight to the organization.
  • Obtain a deep understanding of the SimpleNexus products and processes and own the ongoing presentation of the SN roadmap to key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Proactively stay informed of industry trends and work collaboratively to apply them to product or process improvements for customer
  • Travel regularly for strategic client meetings, sales presentations, industry events, and client events. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in residential mortgage technology with an emphasis on sales or account management in a business-to-business environment.
  • Must have C-Level relationship management ex
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth.
  • Consistent over-achievement of objectives and quotas.
  • Technically adept, self-motivated and driven by results.
  • Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments.
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with all respective customers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience with MS Office Suite, Google Suite as well as CRM solutions such as Salesforce.com.

The salary band for this role is $120,000-$140,000 and a possible OTE of $240,000 (pay may vary dependent on location and experience).
