Description

Receives the public (all ages) and performs clerical functions.

Required Skills

  • Enters daily patient charges; performs other billing procedures; maintains confidentiality.
  • Records treatment orders; secures written verification as needed; alerts therapists to order changes.
  • Performs typing assignments.
  • Receives and delivers messages.
  • Greets patient’s kindly, notes arrival promptly.
  • Able to access patient schedules and performs basic processes.
  • Maintains patient/family confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned; may serve on task forces as requested.
Required Experience

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must have strong clerical and public relation skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office; Ability accurately type documents in a productive manner.
