Job Description
What You Will Do:
The Registration Representative facilitates an efficient and professional registration process through the attainment of demographic and financial information, via face-to-face registration, that is pertinent to appropriate reimbursement and statistical analysis. This position will require registration in multiple systems as well as familiarity with financial and authorization requirements for relevant settings. Communicate appropriately with the medical center staff, physicians, physician offices, community members, families, and community agencies.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Education
No Certification and Licensure Requirements are required or preferred
Experience and Skills
2 - 4 years Knowledge of physician office billing, charge entry, billing programs, procedures, and terminology preferred. (Preferred)
Required Skills: Strong Verbal Communications Skills, Strong Written Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, General Clerical Skills, Basic Computer Skills, Excellent Organizational Skills, Strong Customer Services Skills, Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
