Registered Resp Therapy

Performs routine and more advanced respiratory and diagnostic procedures. Participates in education and training of staff and serves as a resource person.

Adheres to MercyOne Northeast Iowa's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne Northeast Iowa.

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy. No prior experience required.

Current Iowa License upon hire. Registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist upon hire or within 90 days with having Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. BLS; ACLS preferred; NRP if working in NICU. Certified Breath Alcohol Technician at Sartori and Covenant. Mandatory Reporter.

• High language, intermediate math, high reasoning ability.
• Personal computer.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people; ability to work under pressure and with a large degree of independence.
