Work Schedule: PRN Medical City Denton, a Magnet facility, is a 208 bed, full service hospital that serves the growing population of Denton, Wise, Cooke and Montague Counties. Position Summary & Responsibilities:The Registered Nurse Wound Care Coordinator demonstrates authority, responsibility, and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound, ostomy, and continence care through the hospital. The wound care coordinator acts as a resource consultant, and provides direct patient care and education as it may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for age/condition.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Texas RN license or compact license

BSN required

BLS required

Current WOCN Board Certification in Wound and Ostomy

2 years relevant and recent nursing experience required
