Registered Nurse Staff RN PRN Days Oxford, OH

Works in Oxford, OH at Miami University Student Health. PRN with Monday-Friday 8a-6p availability (8-5, 9-6, can be shorter shifts).

This position provides nursing services, either directly or indirectly, to participants in a specific program, specialty department, or practice. This position does initial assessments, and regular re-assessments: provides ongoing nursing services, works as part of an interdisciplinary team, focuses on prevention, early detection, acute and chronic illness. In the event an RN from a physician practice works in an inpatient area, s/he will have the capability to write verbal orders, enter orders, and pend access notes, and will be required to attend physician THC training.

EDUCATION: Associate's Degree in Nursing BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Registered Nurse Current Ohio licensure

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years in Nursing

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of the specialty or population served; ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team.
