What You Will Do:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy
Full-Time – Day Shift – (7:30-4 pm)
Baltimore, Maryland

UMMC - Midtown Campus looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy procedures.

The OR has 7-operating rooms, a 1-cystoscopy room, and 2 endo suites. We perform 90% outpatient surgeries utilizing the services of the University of Maryland Physicians and some community physicians. We average 500 cases per month.

Our Patient Population

We care for Adults/geriatric patients who may have one of the following surgery types: ENT, OMF, GYN, Ortho-Total Joint Replacements, General Surgery, Vascular Surgeries, Sports Medicine, Podiatry.

What You Need to Be Successful:
  • Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland or eligible to practice under a compact license;
  • BSN preferred (Associates Nurses with at least 1+ years of experience);
  • All applicants must have at least 1-2 yrs. experience as an Endoscopy nurse in an inpatient or outpatient facility.
  • Collaborative care for patients throughout pre and post-anesthesia administration
  • Assisted in gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures in a fast-paced environment
