Registered Nurse (Per Diem), Infusion Therapy

Overview: Chilton Medical Center, a member of the prestigious Atlantic Health System, is currently seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Infusion Center.Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions

• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job
• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
• Candidate must have knowledge and experience with all types of peripherally inserted lines and porta caths and able to draw labs

Qualifications:Education:

• BSN preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
• BLS required

Related Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience as an Infusion Therapy nurse.
• Must be familiar with administering antibiotics, IVIG, rheumatoid medications.
• Must be proficent starting IVs and accessing VAD's.
• Chemotherapy preferred.

Hours:

• Per Diem: approx. 8 hours flexible between 7:30am to 4:00pm. (weekends as needed)
