Registered Nurse, Cardiology Data Systems

Overview: Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiology Data Systems Unit. Hours are 7:00 am - 3:00pm.Responsibilities:

• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

Qualifications:Education:

• BSN Preferred

Required License:

• Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required

Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• Cardiology certification Preferred

Relevant Experience:

• At least 3-4 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Surgery
• Clinical knowledge of Cardiology procedures
• Ability work in multiple electronic medicals records to abstract required information. Previous experience in databases, chart abstraction preferred
• Candidate must be able to sit for long periods and work in multiple hospital computer systems
• Demonstrates ability to be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and presentation skills. Must be able to work independently.
