Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) With Small, Friendly ABA Company

We are looking for outstanding, compassionate, intelligent men and women to join our team at Snowflakes ABA. There are multiple positions open ranging from 10-15 hours to 40 hours per week. Weekends are not required, though we will accommodate weekend hours as long as you are available for a days during the week. Our clients range from young children to young adults, living in Howard, Baltimore, PG and Carroll counties (but mostly Howard). We try to place our techs near their homes as well. There is immediate availability of part time and also 30-40 hours per week. (Currently our upcoming positions are in Laurel, Ellicott City and Carroll County but other locations may open soon)

Our company has some really great BCBA supervisors that are fun to work with and truly support the staff with quality, ethical supervision. They typically supervise 1 time per week per child, so you won't feel like you were left on your own, like many companies do.

Snowflakes ABA, LLC, is a small company providing ABA services to children and adults with disabilities. Our mission is to help our clients communicate effectively and learn the necessary social, educational, functional, and adaptive skills to lead a happy and productive life, and to give their families the tools necessary to aid them in their journey.

We are looking to hire behavior technicians or RBTs (registered behavior technicians). The job of a behavior technician is to independently implement the plan of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Reliable transportation is essential for this position. Some duties may include collecting data, entering data into different Microsoft applications, writing service notes for the session, updating graphs, and maintaining accurate records of billable time. Therapy takes place in family homes. Some patient goals may be play skills, social skills, language, adaptive skills, decreasing maladaptive behaviors, vocational skills, and academic skills.

Qualifications:

6 months experience working with people with disabilities using ABA

Experience with Verbal Behavior

High School Diploma

Background check clearance upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

1 year experience working with people with disabilities using ABA

Compensation:

Pay is commensurate with experience and education. RBTs average $5 more per hour.

We have a minimum of 10 hours per week required of our employees and the ability to make up sessions if you call out.

Salary: $20.00-$30.00/ hour (We pay on the high end instead of offering benefits so you can choose what to do with your money. $5 extra an hour (working 30 hours per week) will easily pay for a gold plan on the health exchange with a lot left over.
