In this role, you will work closely within the Infrastructure Construction Management (ICM) Project Controls team and various internal departments including Site Project Management teams, Pre-Construction, Facility Operations, Finance, Global Data Center Connectivity, Sourcing and Operations Engineering, etc. The focus will be on programmatic management of Project Controls within one of the North American regions for both New Builds and Data Center Improvement (DCI) projects. The Regional Schedule Manager will be responsible for management of the site-based Site Schedulers and deliverables within their specified region. Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills are a must in this highly collaborative and strategic role. This is a full-time position and includes approximately 50% travel to Data Centers within the Region and our home office. Key responsibilities of this role include achievement of Project Controls deliverables among the program including financial, schedule, and risk management and reporting. The Regional Schedule Manager will be responsible for ensuring alignment and communication with other Regional Managers in North America, enforcement of best practices, and direct communication with Geo Project Managers within their region of overall project financial, schedule, and risk health. The Regional Schedule Manager will maintain direct communication with General Contractor Project Controls leads within their region to communicate expectations and financial, schedule, and risk performance. This role will work with other Regional Schedule Managers in the development of Project Controls programmatic initiatives and tooling improvements as ICM continues to optimize deliverables.
  • Support preconstruction team in the review of General Contractor contracts for new projects, gathering of historical data, incorporation of master contract terms, communication and management of finalized schedule baseline etc.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of regional scheduler deliverables and communication of key dates to Site Leadership & Strategic Planning & Analytics partners.
  • Review internal P6 schedules during all stages of the project lifecycle, from project scoping & design through execution and handover to Facilities.
  • Understand and communicate regional project’s Project Controls Health (financial, schedule, and risk) with Geo Project Managers.
  • Support preparation efforts for Quarterly Strategic Planning, Long-Range Planning, and Annual Site Planning establishment & reporting.
  • Review regional projects’ Work in Place (WIP) and ensure alignment with Financial partners for quarterly submission to Finance.
  • Provide leadership for Site Schedulers within region to ensure collaboration with Project Controls Analysts and alignment of project health between cost and schedule.
  • Maintain Relationship with GC Partners (i.e., continual communication of expectations and performance feedback, programmatic initiatives collaboration, etc.)
  • Preparation of Monthly Executive Reports & Presentations for Global Leadership Meetings.
  • Preparation of data & themes for General Contractor Quarterly & Annual Business Reviews and attendance as necessary.
  • Strategize and drive programmatic efficiencies and opportunities for the future of Project Controls within ICM, including continued alignment with other Regional Schedule Managers to ensure alignment.
  • Management of onboarding and training process for new Site Schedulers.
  • Responsible for management of 4-5 Site-based Site Schedulers within region.
  • Approximately 30-50% travel to other Data Center sites within region and home office.

  • BA/BS in construction management, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction and project management for various construction programs.
  • Experience in construction planning, scheduling, pull planning, and Earned Value Management.
  • Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Primavera P6.
  • Experience communicating financial status and schedule details from multiple construction sites to executive management.
