Summary: Enercon Industries Corporation is looking for an aggressive Regional Sales Director with a proven record of accomplishment in selling capital equipment in the converting and extruding industries. The right candidate will inherit a prime sales territory in North America for selling surface treating equipment for film lines with opportunity for territory sales growth. Reporting to a company Vice President, this position focuses on technical consultative selling to a robust existing customer base and proactively developing new accounts. What You Will Do:

  • Regional Territory Sales Director
  • Actively sell, identify and develop business opportunities
  • Responsible for leading and directing each opportunity through the sales process including coordination of activities with agents as needed
  • Follow up with customers and leads in a timely and professional manner to assist with questions or concerns.
  • Qualify opportunities and provide quoting team with all technical data and customer insights to properly configure solutions
  • Maintain status of each project in CRM system, including anticipated close date and next action with responsible party.
  • Maintain contact with customers; frequency determined by level of business customer has provided or looks to provide in coming year.
  • Drives significant growth in a product line
  • Participate and network at industry associations, conferences, tradeshows and events
  • Effectively make technical presentations at events and through webinars
  • Management of Representatives (as applicable)
  • Responsible for sourcing new manufacturing reps in new or underperforming territories.
  • Communicate with representatives on a regular basis coordinating sales process to ensure most effective results.
  • Closely monitor sales and quote volume of representatives. Review reports with representatives at least on a quarterly basis.
  • Actively participates in yearly goal setting with each representative.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of professional experience and accomplishment in capital equipment sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or Business degree with considerable technical experience will be considered.
  • Experience in surface treating for printing, coating, laminating, blown film or the cast film markets is a big plus.
  • Experience, drive, and demonstrated success in building relationships with market stakeholders
  • Relentless pursuit of growth and improvement
  • Past participation in associations that touch the printing, coating, laminating, blown film or the cast film industries is a plus.
  • CRM experience (Sales Force experience a plus)
  • Business acumen to assess our products, the market, and competition and make recommendations.
  • Ability & willingness to travel up to 40% of the year (post COVID-19 travel restrictions)
