BASIC FUNCTION
- Serve as the finance liaison for the project managers and cross functional project teams, including engineering, R&D business partners, sales, and purchasing
- Lead communication of project financial planning and analysis information to all levels of the organization.
- Plan development projects in cooperation with the responsible project teams for rolling forecast creation, operational planning, and strategic planning with focus on commercial evaluation and target setting
- Complete monthly project reporting including the execution of variance analyses and the initiation of countermeasures with the project teams
- Execute ad-hoc analyses and commercial evaluation of scenarios
- Empower domain and product line management to recommend actions through meaningful and transparent documentation
- Provide support with forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of variations from the project budget
- Prepare reports which summarize and forecast project cost in a business unit level and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification
- Oversee approvals and track actual to project budget to ensure program targets are met and appropriate accounting treatment
- Update local management and division of financial status of business unit(s) and potential issues
- Communicate and educate other departments on the cost center spending and variances, change management tracking, and quoting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIUMUM KNOWLEDGE AND BACKGROUND REQUIRMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3-5+ years of related experience
- Strong analytical ability, good judgment, financial and accounting technical skills
- Excellent analytical, communications, and interpersonal skills preferred
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office preferred
- Ability to work in a Matrix environment
- Proven organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work in an intercultural environment with international colleagues
- Ability to influence and engage personnel and management at multiple levels within internal and external organizations
