Essential Functions
1. Promote sales growth in assigned region through new customer acquisitions, customer retention and identification of growth opportunities with current base. Develop and sustain trust relationships with new and existing clients.
2. Meet with customers to promote company initiatives, conduct business reviews, and assist with company and industry challenges. Adequately prepare for all customer meetings.
3. Exhibit expert knowledge and understanding of VDC services and offerings to customers and present an individualized approach to address the concerns of customers. Remain up to date on company initiatives and industry information, and develop strategies to increase customer profitability.
4. Manage emails, phone calls, and text messages, and promote a positive company image at all times.
5. Collaborate with various departments within the company to resolve any customer issues as quickly as possible. Assist customers in the development of profitable businesses and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Analyze territory sales, individual customer sales, and sales patterns. Understand area competition. Deliver sales results that meet or exceed company goals.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and professional standards, as well as company policies and procedures. Adequately manage company expense account.
Work Environment
This position operates in a personal office, automobile, and at retail pharmacy locations. Extensive travel, as well as overnight travel, is required for the position. Regional Account Managers receive periodic supervision.

Requires close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures and view a computer screen, as well as mental concentration.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Travel
Extensive travel to customer retail pharmacy locations is required for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Associate or Bachelor Degree or equivalent training and experience
Expert customer service skills
Laptop
