The Regional Account Manager is responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements throughout the Region. This position will act as G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. liaison with client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. This position is also responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes. This position is the primary point of contact for human relations functions involving G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. employees.

Main Responsibilities
Specific Duties and Essential Functions
Inspect and evaluates risks and ensure adequate staffing for client sites throughout the region; this includes compliance with post orders, associated regulations and client Security Services Policy Database
Ensure schedules are developed to include service requests (extra hours) and training requirements as required
Coordinate proper responses to emergency situations and ensure subordinates respond appropriately to same
Act as incident commander and /or safety officer at emergency incidents
Review incident reports for compliance with regulations, client polices, and for quality assurance
Assist in the selection, orientation, development and retention of staff in compliance with all regulatory and contract requirements
Serve as staff support to client security management and assists in conducting investigations of significant threats and/or the loss or misappropriation of assets
Monitor new officers to ensure they are performing effectively and understand the various aspects of their positions; monitors development programs to ensure staff are meeting evolving client requirements
Train Shift Supervisors on how to provide on-the-job training for newly assigned officers; ensure new staff are familiar with policies and procedures, assigned rounds, client post orders and any other related responsibilities
Train and ensure compliance of client Standards for the Access Control System (ACS) at the location
Ensure the correct and consistent administration of the client Blanket Agreement
Provide leadership, advice and counsel to all security staff in achieving current and long range strategic department goals
Perform incident analysis and investigation relative to all incidents with advice and closure to all responsible parties
The Ideal Candidate
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
Must be able to pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in contract guarding
Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Site Manager or Regional Account Manager
Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the management of guard personnel
Skills Required
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Attention to detail

Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Some stooping and/or kneeling required .
