REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Refrigeration Technician

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

LOCATION: Louisville

SALARY CLASS: Hourly Non - Exempt

SHIFT: 3rd Shift Hours (10pm – 6am)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry environment preferred
• Basic computer skills necessary
• PLC knowledge a plus
• Physical demands: climbing ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines and tools
• Work environment: Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat and extreme cold conditions
• Background check and drug test required
• Ability to make quick decisions
• Ability to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems
• Day to day maintenance and repair to equipment
• Maintaining a safe plant, meeting all federal, state, and local environment requirements
