Job Description

REDS (Regulatory External Data Services) currently has an opportunity for an associate position that offers complex duties and diversified responsibilities. This position is primarily responsible for gathering, interpreting and managing issues related to reporting requirements for the CCAR FR Y-14M (Schedules A,B & C) and contributing to building robust control framework for the FR Y-14M. This individual must be able to clearly interpret and communicate information related to the issues and data reported within the schedules. The associate is expected to understand the Home Lending business in order to effectively evaluate, track and appropriately report the issues related to the FR Y-14M report submission. This individual will build meaningful and productive relationships with our partners in Risk, IT, Home Lending Operations, Controls, Audit etc. It is anticipated that the associate will streamline current processes while developing a creative method of competing duties. Experience or desire to learn Alteryx, Tableau and Python are favorable for current Issue Management reporting.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall administrative and strategic issue management process
  • Gather, interpret, and manage issues related to reporting requirements for the FR Y-14M (Schedules A, B & C)
  • Aid in prioritization of issues for the Data Analytics team
  • Assist Data Analytics team with issue analysis
  • Responsible for the overall administrative and strategic issue management process
  • Collaborate with other teams (Servicing, CCB Data Management, IT, QA & Risk etc.) to identify data issues and improve data quality for the FR Y-14M
  • Clearly interpret and communicate information related to the FR Y-14M issues
  • Responsible for creating detailed documentation
  • Prepare various reporting metrics for inclusion in presentations to Executive Steering Committee and Management

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
  • Knowledge with JIRA, TOAD/SQL is required
  • Experience working in an environment that requires attention to detail with adherence to strict rules and standards
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience presenting to senior management
  • Must be a detail-oriented self-starter who possesses excellent research abilities along with strong organizational, teamwork and time management skills
  • Ability to pivot quickly to meet changing priorities and deadlines
