Immedaitley hiring for a Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for assisting with recruiting activities within an assigned market by fulfilling administrative support tasks related to sourcing, hiring and placement of associates. Handles communication traffic, pre-screening of applicants, scheduling of appointments, administering pre-employment assessments and coordinating application/new hire paperwork. The Recruiting Coordinator reports directly to the VP of Human Resources.

Founded by four partners with extensive experience in senior living, Cascade Living Group is dedicated to providing high-quality senior living and care communities throughout the western United States. Cascade Living Group currently operates senior housing communities that offer a broad range of senior living options including active, adult independent living and assisted living, as well as integrated Alzheimer’s and memory care communities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Ensures an ideal candidate experience consistent with needs of the communities.
- Reviews job applications against selection criteria to determine suitability in the online applicant tracking system on a continuing basis.
- Answers incoming emails, assists with recruiting tasks, including identification and review of qualified candidates and routes qualified candidates appropriately.
- Prepares candidate assessment tools using established questions and tests.
- Conducts initial screening to assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinates on-boarding as needed.
- Demonstrates understanding of the senior housing industry and Cascade Living Group’s position within the industry.
- Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews with Community Hiring Managers. Ensures interview process stays on track and on time.
- Assists with local job fairs, advertising and related publicity of job opportunities.
- Assists with the job request process and connecting people with communities.
- Coordinates the posting of jobs on internal/external job boards and company websites, managing candidate information in recruiting database and job description creation for ads.
- Seeks ways to streamline processes for operational efficiency and excellence.
- Contributes to the success of the team through positive, professional interaction and communication with others.
- Enhances both the candidate and community experience.

KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required; preference for some college.
- One to two years current recruitment support experience plus at least one year of customer service and/or sales experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel; knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and ability to persuade an audience.
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
