The Recruitment Department at GHS is looking for someone who has the ability to problem solve, be the face of our organization while helping internal and external candidates via phone and email; coordinate interview set-up and partnering on finding great candidates to join our org.

Job Description:

Provides support to Recruiters for the entire sourcing, application, record maintenance and hiring processes from the candidate's initial contact with the Recruitment Services department to completion of hire. Administers assessments, reviews applications, screens candidates to verify eligibility, and assists in creating a warm welcome/transition to the organization by assisting with the new employee orientation program.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Recruiters to provide a wide variety of support. Provides high level of service including fielding questions from candidates, hiring leaders, and others regarding status of applications, job openings, processing of data, verification of candidate license/certification/education and other related activities.

2. Conducts screening of applications to verify candidates meet minimum employment qualifications required per job description; follows up with candidates to obtain additional information and provides job specific information.

3. Collaborates with hiring leaders to post positions including fellowships, internships, virtual postings for partner organizations, and other positions at the direction of the Recruitment Manager.

4. Assists with sourcing strategy including researching options, analysis of alternatives, coordinating all print and online advertisement, and evaluating/analyzing websites; creating, posting, monitoring and removing posted positions, as well as tracking costs for reporting and budgetary purposes.

5. Help establish a welcoming relationship with new hires to provide a relationship-orientated transition into the organization. Coordinates arrangements for new hires including house hunting trips, employment physicals, orientation schedules, and processing bonuses/loan forgiveness and other paperwork associated with compensation.

6. Maintains close liaison with the HR Service Center and other departments to gather and verify necessary information to complete hiring process accurately including establishing candidate roster for new employee orientation.

7. Coordinates logistics for new employee orientation program including scheduling dates, rooms, Executive & staff facilitators; coordinates food and participant materials; updates and proofs presentations & connects with new hires on day one to ensure smooth transition.

8. Advises applicants regarding overall application and hiring process. Informs applicants of procedures to access job postings and application information through various methods. Answers questions and provides further details to applicants about types of openings and the status of the selection and review process for the desired position.

9. Coordinates candidate interviews, including making travel arrangements and hotel accommodations as required. Organize any interview events including meals or other meet-and-greet events. Escorts candidates to the location of their interview when necessary.

10. Assists Recruiters in representing Gundersen at various career fairs and school programs. Coordinates the logistics of career fairs and school programs including reserving space, obtaining a display and ordering or procuring give away items. Attend recruiting events to assist Recruiter and represent organization sharing information about employment opportunities.

11. Recommends improvements in work flow, procedures, use of equipment and forms. Assists with special projects, events, and assignments as requested.

12. Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested.


Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
Associate degree in Business or a related field

Work Experience:
REQUIRED
2 years experience in an administrative role that includes customer service experience.
DESIRED
1 year experience in recruiting department and prior background in healthcare or service industry.
