Objective
The Recruiter will manage City Wide’s both in-house and independent contractor programs by identifying, screening, credentialing, and onboarding new candidates and ICs. This person will implement processes procedures to effectively recruit, on-board, and maintain documentation for janitorial and non-janitorial independent contractors. The Recruiter works closely with the operations team (FSM’s and DOO’s) to keep them updated on the roster eligible and ineligible independent contractors and in-house candidates. This position may also be responsible for other office administrative activities.
Essential functions

- Hire sufficient ICs to services City Wide’s janitorial and non-janitorial service accounts.
- Manage all IC recruiting activities – online postings, e-mail advertising, direct mail advertising, and social media activities to ensure a consistent flow of new Independent Contractors candidates.
- Conduct the initial vetting/screening of all prospective In-house and Independent Contractors – in office, at career fairs or remote locations.
- Preparing paperwork needed to create new employee profile in HRIS system.
- Utilize the City-Wide IC Checklist to complete Independent Contractor onboarding by collecting, verifying, and filing all required documentation for Independent Contractors compliance.
- Enter and maintain Independent Contractors’ records in CRM.
- Inform Operations team of all new independent contractors to ensure they are placed in a timely manner.
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
- Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it.
- Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Perform reference checks as need
- Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
- Assist with the onboarding and new hire process
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Assist in the overall interview, selection, and closing process
- Manage event credential distribution for Arena and Jaguars
- Assists in maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- Serve as back-up for front desk coverage
- Other duties as assigned including ASM events.
Position Requirements

- High School Diploma
- Prior recruiting, or similar experience, highly desired
- A self-starter with attention to detail and follow-up
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relation Management (CRM)
- Proficient with using social media to promote/recruit Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and court decisions relevant to proper human resource management.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
- Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
- Relationship Building - Ability to effectively build relationships with clients, service providers and co-workers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to sit or stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
