JOB FAIR: Interviews this week! 10/27 from 9am - 12pm and 10/28 from 12pm - 3pm. Submit a short cover letter letting us know what time would be best for you and why you would like to be a dog daycare attendant. Must be selected to participate in the group/interactive interviews on 10/27 and 10/28. More interviews also available by appointment.

PART TIME - 18-26 hours per week

Full time opportunity available after training and probation period

Shifts: 6.5 hours or 8 hours depending on the day and need

$11.25 Per hour

About the Job

A Camp Counselors assists with animal care, heavy cleaning and play yard monitoring.

Starting wage is $11.25 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor up to 20 dogs in a play yard for several hours
• Maintaining a clean envrionment.
• Feeding, cleaning cabins, lifting heavy items.
• Heavy cleaning
• Constantly walking and interacting with dogs and team members.
• Maintaining a safe environment!
• Be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times.
• Leadership skills a PLUS

Essential Skills

• Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality
• Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills!
• MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!!!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years or older.
• Be able to lift at least 40-50 pounds
• Constantly walk and/or stand entire shift on concrete floors
• Be able to follow strict safety rules and protocols
• Be detail oriented
• This is a very physically demanding job

Reporting

• Camp Manager and Camp Assistant Manager

Availability

Hourly position. Camps are open 7 days/week, 6:00am - 7:30pm. Weekends and holidays are required. Time off granted with at least two weeks notice.
