Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed, not-for-profit hospital located in Ahoskie, NC. The 15-bed ER serves approximately 21,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns. Position Summary
The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist is a member of the diagnostic staff of Radiology Services. The technologist is responsible for the operation of diagnostic and fluoroscopy imaging equipment and for performing examinations. The Radiologic Tech must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (R) registered with current certification.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree is required.
Current R.T. (R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technolgist (ARRT) is required.
CPR Certification is required.
BLS is required.
Other Information
This is a PRN (on an as needed basis) position.
Must be able tto work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
