HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, a 236-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala, has the only Commission on Cancer approved cancer center in Marion County. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is also a Level II Trauma Center. Position Summary:

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to process the xray images. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing Fluoroscopies, Plain X-ray and DEXA (Bone Densitometry). Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.

Education
Vocational/Technical or Associate Degree required.
4 year Bachelor Degree preferred.

License / Certification:
BLS
Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
State Registered Radiologic Tech

Experience:
1-3 years of x-ray experience required
3 -5 years of x-ray experience preferred
