Part-Time
In this role, the Radiographer will perform diagnostic imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision of technical detail. Performs technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and innovative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
- Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines to provide the physicians with the highest quality of diagnostic images.
- Provides assistance to the Radiologist during radiographic procedures to expedite patient care and quality of life.
- Assesses plans, provides intervention and evaluates care for each patient based on their ages to avoid unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Prepares equipment and supplies necessary for radiographic procedures and performs daily tasks to ensure patient safety.
- Maintains current licensure and educational points to ensure expansion of job knowledge.
- Performs all required hospital and department tracking in IDXRAD and verifying in PACS in an accurate and proficient manner to aid in timely diagnosis and proper billing.
- Maintains order and cleanliness of x-ray equipment and rooms to provide a safe, clean and aesthetic environment.
- Maintains communication with immediate supervisor, patient and all Medical Center staff to ensure cooperation.
- Maintains flexibility to ensure department workload consistency.
- Maintains proficiency in the department’s RIS/PACS System.

Position Requirements:
Minimum Required:
- Associates Degree
- Specify Degree(s): AAS in Radiologic Technology
- Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications:
Required:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Approved Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Radiology (IEMA)
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- Registered Radiographic Technologist
