Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Assists with new employee orientation and training.
  • Communicates effectively and with optimism supporting hospital core values and mission.
  • Displays proficiency in using ARIA.
  • Effectively uses own time and ensures efficient use by supervised staff.
  • Ensures confidentiality in accordance with hospital policy and HIPAA.
  • Extends offer to counsel patients when dispensing following AIDET.
  • Follows all hospital and departmental polices ensuring team follows these as well.
  • Ensures chart documentation has been completed.
  • Oversees all record-keeping associated with receipt, distribution, and deposits are made daily.
  • Ensures that departmental in-services are provided to meet JCAHO requirements for training and education with assurance of Competency assessments for all staff.
  • Collects and assesses performance improvement processes in a timely manner.
Qualifications


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business
  • Or 2 years prior experience in similar field
  • Scheduling and Training of Staff

Job Summary:

Has day-to-day operational & training responsibility for operation of the Cancer Institute. Must oversee office staff to ensure patient safety and efficient work flow. Performance improvement and safety champion. Assists Director in strategic departmental planning for the office.
