We invite you to join our Radiology department as a Rad Tech at Scripps Memorial Hospital Chula Vista. This tight-knit team works together to support our hospital overseeing a diverse population of both in-patient and out-patient cases. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and utilize our cutting-edge technology to provide compassionate care every day.


The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.


This position is casual (per diem), with varied hours including occasional weekends, and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Chula Vista.


Preferred Experience:
  • At least one year of experience as a Rad Tech in an acute care environment


Requirements:
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology

  • CRT
  • Fluoroscopy Eligible (Must obtain within 6 months of hire date)

  • BLS from the American Heart Association
