QuickLane Technician

The Automotive QuickLane Technician is responsible for performing routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations. An understanding of engines is essential, and prior automotive experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Performing oil change services, checking and topping off of all fluids, checking tire pressures, etc.

Performing safety, general service inspections identifying fluid leakage, tire wear, service light identification and routine maintenance

Flushing and servicing of all fluid operated or containing systems

Drive belt, coolant hose and light bulb replacements

Ability to perform tire rotations

Basic brake inspection of pad and shoe wear, rotor and drum wear limits, fluid leakage

Communicating with service advisor of needed safety repairs or maintenance

Minimum Requirements

Experience working in an automotive service environment is preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

A valid driver's license and a driving record clear of major violations
