- Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacturing process.
- Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production.
- Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Typically reports to a supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to report inspection points on PPQP documents for review at Customer Location.
- Interpret and evaluate data from the Prototype process and fill out documentation and obtain approvals from internal and internal customers.
- Organize documentation prepared and properly copy each document for attachment onto the Seats prior to shipment.
- File all documents according in file management locations according to instruction.
- Report the non-conforming issue to Quality Engineers, Supervisors, Program Managers, Product Engineers.
- Work with high attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- The ability to meet due dates and deadlines is required.
- Make follow-up calls to customers on the status of the PPQP approvals.
- Report out results
