Job Summary
This position has the direct responsibility to ensure that the product manufactured, packaged and shipped to our customers conforms to all the established Quality Assurance and Quality Control Requirements.
Essential Functions:

- Analyzes and interprets blueprints, sample data, and other materials to determine, change, or measure specifications or inspection and testing procedures.
- Cleans and maintains test equipment and instruments and certifies that precision instruments meet standards.
- Collects samples for testing, and computes findings.
- Confers with vendors and others regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures, and compiles reports of results, recommendations, and needed repairs.
- Discards or rejects products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
- Inspects materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to specifications, and adjusts process or assembly equipment to meet standards.
- Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
- Observes and monitors production operations and equipment to ensure proper assembly of parts.
- Reviews maintenance records to ensure that plant equipment functions properly.
- Tests and measures finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, or assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by management.

Experience and Skills
- 2-3 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience
- Familiarity with ISO-9001:2015
- Familiarity with GD&T is a plus
- Machine Shop experience is helpful
- Internal Audit and CAR/PAR system experience a plus
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
Education
- High School or Trade School graduate preferred
