Quality Technician

Quality Technician:

What you will do

• Support Production Quality Assurance by managing quality assurance duties on a daily basis:
  • Auditing the production floor for quality issues.
  • Approve finished product when necessary.
  • Conducting visual and measurement tests,
  • In-process production and incoming materials by confirming specifications,
  • Lead walkback / sorting activities.
  • Leads investigations on basic production issues.
  • Execute inspection requirements.
  • Document and maintain data and information as required.
  • Cooperate with other internal groups in maintaining and improving the inspection system.
  • Support additional QA technician duties as required.

How you will do it

• Reporting to the Quality Manager as well as Plant Quality Engineer
  • Attend and Participate in Quality Production Activities
  • Participate actively in the continuous improvement process
  • Submit and/or implement suggestions to improve quality
  • Attend all required meetings.
  • Escalate issues as needed.
  • Participate and comply with all Company directives including Safety, Quality, Delivery and People requirements.

What we look for

• Previous Quality Assurance / Control Experience
• Good knowledge of Quality Assurance activities with respect to Injection Molding Processes
• Gauge Use / Care Training
• Ability to Problem Solve
• Ability to work in a high performance / stress environment
• Training in a technical field desirable
• Ability to work well with others across departments
• SAP or other MRP based system experience.
