Position Summary:
The Quality Manager is responsible for the facilitation and oversight of all quality systems at both manufacturing sites including, but not limited to, training, audits (internal and external), document and change control, and customer complaints. The Quality Manager interacts with all levels of all departments within the company. The Quality Manager also interacts regularly with customers, regulatory agencies, and vendors. The Quality Manager has oversight for the Quality staff including the laboratory technician.
Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate and support external audits from customers and regulatory authorities as required, including the completion of any audit response reports.
2. Track the completion of audit related corrective actions and communicate with the customer/agency as required.
3. Provide oversight to the internal audit program of the quality systems as well as the monthly self-inspection system.
4. Acts as the SQF practitioner.
5. Support the HALAL/Organic certification programs.
6. Review 3rd party test reports for environmental monitoring, pathogen monitoring, and water testing for compliance to specifications and trends.
7. Oversight of the customer complaint program, including investigation and report completion.
8. Oversight of the corrective action tracking and completion.
9. Verify Spray-Tek purchased raw materials for compliance to COA and release for use.
10. Verify suitability (solubility and toxicity) of new materials to be dried.
11. Verify the process engineer data entry of the BOM into the Batch Metrics system.
12. Review QC GC data.
13. Oversight of the change control and document control processes at both sites.
14. Support the implementation of safety initiatives throughout the company.
15. Oversight of the company training program, including maintenance of the training matrix, facilitation of training and delivery of training (where required).
16. Oversight of the HACCP programs at both sites.
17. Provide direction and guidance to the quality staff.
18. Batch record review as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
