Job Summary:
Weber-Stephen Product Manufacturing is hiring Quality Inspectors to join our production department. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of production to guarantee that all products meet quality expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors quality of production by self-check, successive check, and comparison to quality standards.
• Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
• transfers parts from one work cell to another.
• Prepares parts for storage and hanging by protecting, sorting stacking and or racking.
• Handles inventory by segregating good parts, scrap, and defective parts, correctly identifying parts and maintaining quantities based on pre-established requirements.
• Active with the continual improvement of the process.

Requirements:

• Applicants will be required to pass a post-offer drug test & background investigation.
• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk or hear. Will also occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds, however constant movement and lifting requirement of bulky items, approx. 10-20 pounds. Will be required to wear PPE; gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
• Adherence to all safety requirements and personal protective equipment.
• Maintain proper housekeeping.
• Ability to work as a team.
