Quality Inspector CMM Programmer

The CMM Programmer Operator will be responsible for preparing and inspecting parts using the Coordinate Measuring Machine and reporting on the results. CMM-Manager software experience required.

Responsibilities

• · Develop and maintain CMM programs for inspection of parts
• · Perform inspection of parts/components/assemblies
• · Perform dimensional analysis to help identify potential quality issues
• Assist with capability studies and Gage R&R studies
• · Discuss results and collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering
• · Meet productivity standards and strive to increase productivity
• · Identify and report nonconformities and initiate resolutions
• · Communicate inspection issues to Quality Manager
• · Perform related duties as required by supervisor.
• · Follow ISO 9001:2015 established directives

Physical Demands

• · Required to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• · Repetitive motions.
• · Able to work in various weather and temperature conditions.

Requirements

• · Experienced in use of precision inspection measuring devices
• · Complete understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance
• · Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• · Read and interpret engineering drawing specifications
• · CMM knowledge required, Vision system preferred
