Job Description

Position: Quality Director/Manager

Reports to: President

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for:

  • Providing PDC employees with concise communication of the customer needs, requirements and goals
  • Provide assurance that products meet specifications and expectations
  • Administer and maintain the quality management system
  • Coordinate Final Inspection operations with Hand Labor Lead
  • Resolving customer inquiries relating to quality as directed though the President
  • Initiating change in policy as trends and standards may require
  • Train and educate employees of PDC in quality policy, QMS and related requirements
  • Receives QA OK to Run samples from Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Engineer. Processes “Ok to run” and “In process checks” with highest priority
  • Maintains adequate Organization of FA, Certs and Retains for ease of reference

Experience Requirements:

Minimum- 3-5 years of Quality management experience in a Manufacturing environment.

Desired- 5+ years of Quality Management experience in a ISO13485 Medical Manufacturing/ Converting environment

Education Requirements:

Minimum- A high school diploma or equivalent.

Desired- Bachelors’ Degree in Management

Skill Requirements:

Minimum- Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to develop, implement & maintain a QMS based on company and Customer requirements.

Desired- Advanced Computer skills and proven QMS development/ implementation capabilities.

  • Possess interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to work as a team member

Salary: $50,000-$125,000 DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
