Quality Auditor

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated Quality Auditor to support our shipping team. This role is responsible for ensuring that products being shipped are accurately packed before being loaded and delivered to customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Audit outbound shipments prior to shipping to customer, document audit information, and communicate findings
• Assist in verification and validation of all incoming and outgoing shipments with focus on positive release of raw materials
• Ensure lot tracking of all Resins within the quality testing database
• Prepare Product Certifications for all outbound shipments as audited
• Communicate with inventory control, order pickers, leads and supervisors regarding audit findings
• Make recommendations regarding Continuous Improvement within the shipping audit function.
• Ensure accuracy on orders that are audited
• Other related duties, as assigned

Quality Auditors need to be able to:

• work with a diverse group of people
• demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
• by organized and use analytical skills
• recognize and differentiate between many similar SKU’s
• multi-task and finish assignments on time
• learn new processes in a fast-paced environment
• Walk, stand, bend, squat, reach above shoulders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Education, Experience & Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
• Three or more related experience in quality control, preferably in third-party logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Microsoft proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook
• Strong math skills
