Quality Assurance Supervisor

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will support the process to satisfy new and current customer demands by providing the safe securement and handling of vehicles to be delivered damage free to our customers. The Quality Assurance Supervisor will ensure vehicles are safely loaded onto a transport rig, assist drivers with achieving damage-free deliveries to designated dealerships, ensure drivers conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, share necessary information to drivers, staff, and dealers regarding updates on vehicle handling and inspection processes.

The individual in this position should be personable, a problem solver, reliable, and ethical. In addition, this individual should be punctual, professional, and possess excellent communications and people skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of the drivers and Loading Supervisors, on a daily basis, to ensure all customers and company policies are strictly enforced.
• Implement and continually reinforce quality/damage prevention training to ensure Quality Assurance Coordinators and drivers are familiar with best practices for minimizing potential damage while maximizing efficiencies and driver safety.
• Ensure routine load audits are conducted daily and that deficiencies are corrected, i.e., loose tie downs, short strappings, improper clearance, or tie angels, etc.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required for all levels of management and customers.
• Develop strategies to reduce driver’s IPTV’s
• Ensure all cargo damage reports are completed timely and that corrective measures are clearly communicated to drivers to prevent future damage of customer product.
• Administer disciplinary action as required to correct performance and/or behavioral issues.
• Work with terminal management and corporate executives to ensure overall quality policies and business goals are met.

This position is responsible for multiple facilities and travel is required to support company needs and staffing shortages.

The Quality Assurance Supervisor position is a supervisory, salary, exempt position and will require candidate to work various hours, weekends, holidays, and travel periodically when necessary.
