Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance and Inventory Control Technician to join our Component Management team, responsible for evaluating and maintaining quality and accuracy of the product managed and provided by CoreAVI. As a Quality Assurance and Inventory Control Technician, you will be a key member of our Quality team and will be responsible for the quality and quantity of electronic components managed by CoreAVI. Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality control inspection and other quality control activities supporting an electronic component receiving, storage, and packaging activities
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing electronic products meet specified quality parameters
  • Provide troubleshooting support when incoming electronic products require disposition or product correction
  • Ability to understand product coding and datasheets
  • Ability to perform calculations and counts of products
  • Create record inspection results relevant to product management activity
  • Monitor and maintain inventory and operational supplies
  • Analyze data through virtual inventory system to keep inventory levels standard
  • Work with team and leadership to fix problems
  • Work closely and positively with other quality and administration departments, staff, and management located within the facility
  • Ensure Quality Systems are adhered to in the performance of duties and communicate all quality issues
  • Support the Quality Department and Continuous Improvement Processes
  • Prepare and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Identify and resolve workflow and production issues
  • Ensure standards and safety regulations are observed
  • Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors
  • Document quality assurance activities and creating audit reports
  • Make recommendations for improvement
  • Create training materials and operating manuals

Desired Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in a Quality control environment
  • Experience in working with electronic components or in an ESD safe environment, preferred but not required
  • Quality assurance/control experience preferred but not required
  • Must be able to stand, bend, push, pull, stoop, and crouch up to 50% of the time while performing this position's duties

Asset Skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Basic mathematic skills
  • Ability to distinguish minor, but significant differences between complex material part numbers/descriptions
  • Basic computer skills; Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
