Job Description
The Quality Assurance Compliance Coordinator is responsible to:
- Assure programs are in compliance with state and federal regulations and DDCN quality expectations;
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for all Everas programs
- Direct QA survey reviews and develop all DDCN QA review formats
- Review, Monitor and Report on agency accidents/incidents
- Develops quality improvement trainings
- Leads agency investigations
- Ensure agency compliance with policies, contracts and licensing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess, develop and implement agency-wide quality assurance and compliance programs that ensures the implementation and continued delivery of effective client programs and services;
- Assist in the development of DDCN policies and procedures;
- Assist in assessing and developing training/quality assurance/compliance needs and curriculum for staff of all levels to ensure delivery of quality services;
- Chair and coordinate CQI Committee
- Develop and coordinate QA team;
- Coordinate follow-up and maintain tracking system for Accident/Incident Reports;
- Develop and maintain training modules;
- Develop and manage agency conferences, workshops, training programs and continuing education;
- Develop and conduct/supervise outreach programs;
- Develop and implement training for outside agencies as appropriate;
- Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented in agency programs;
- Ensure that quality and professionalism of all agency programs are maintained;
- Ensure all programs operate so that they reflect DDCN's philosophy and ensure that are Core Values are being maintained;
- Develop and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with staff;
- Adhere to all Federal, State, Local codes, rules and regulations as they pertain to licensing, certification and ongoing operation of agency programs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Masters Degree or equivalent training and experience in Human Services;
- Minimum three years experience in supervising professional staff in a Human Services agency;
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures for program services;
- Experience with DD Licensing;
- Experience with the DD population preferred;
Valid Nebraska State driver's license.
