Quality Assurance Analyst

We are growing and are in search of an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team!

This position performs Quality Assurance testing of new or modified applications/systems according to Business Requirements. The successful candidate will assure a high level of quality in business systems through execution of test cases, verification of test results and the resolution of problems found. Candidate will participate in the development, analysis and continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures.

What will you be doing?

• Conducts daily test activities to meet sprint/team goals including
• Creation, maintenance and execution of test cases (manual)
• Execution, maintenance and monitoring of test automation scripts
• Creation and tracking of detailed defects found during test execution
• Test and verify bug fixes
• Support of the UAT testing activity
• Participates in all scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, refinement, planning etc)
• Assist development teams with the development and documentation of user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate closely with the development team to create effective strategies, understand user stories and ensure a high-quality deliverable
• Will train to be a cross-functional member of the team

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree or at least two years’ experience in a systems quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of agile scrum methodologies and best practices
• Experience working with SQL and databases
• Experience testing web-based applications
• Insurance software knowledge and/or process understanding a plus!
• Knowledge of Azure Devops (from a Work Management Perspective) a plus!
• Knowledge of Testing in Azure Devops a plus!
• ISTQB Foundation (and Agile modules) a plus!
• Goal oriented and flexible to work as required to meet required deadlines

The Ideal Career Path for this position is the desire to Learn and Grow into a QA Automation Engineer writing C# code that uses the .NET and Selenium frameworks.

• Our offices are located in Pinellas Park, FL
• Typical Office hours are 8:30-5:00pm Monday-Friday, but may require additional hours to meet project deadlines
