The Scoop:
The Quadient Software Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and support of MedImpact’s Quadient Inspire Communications Platform. This position works closely with business users, Database architects, Application Support Engineers and Application Developers to create design standards, operating procedures and best practices for developing standard and interactive communication workflows using Quadient tools.
What You Get To Do:
- Designs and develops reusable multi-channel communication templates and content that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, sustainability, and performance
- Creates ‘Best Practices’ guidelines for creating and maintaining multi-channel communication templates and workflows; participate in peer reviews for designs, data structure and content
- Works closely with the Data Warehouse team to ensure data changes are aligned with business requirements
- Provides production, development, QA support and performance tuning as needed to meet project deadlines
- Identify and evaluate industry trends in Customer Communication Management systems to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management
- Provides technical guidance and training to less experienced personnel on developing communication tools
- Provides guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on communication applications, or process-related topics
Education and/or Experience
- For consideration candidates will need a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five (5) plus years’ JAVA coding experience
- Customer Communication Management experience and healthcare or PBM experience a plus
Computer Skills
Strong JAVA development skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Inspire Designer certificate preferred.

Travel - This position may require occasional domestic travel and attendance at local conferences.
