Quality Lab Technician will be responsible for analyzing asphalt materials for conformance to certain specifications

• Operating and maintaining laboratory testing equipment to analyze material
• Reporting and maintaining accurate quality control reports
• Driving to manufacturing plants and job sites to obtain asphalt samples
• Determining sample compliance with ODOT specifications and company’s quality control program
• Troubleshooting and making recommendations to Quality Manager on improving processes
• Additional duties as assigned.

High School or Vocational School graduate

• Must be able to employ independent judgement and resourcefulness in performing quality testing and reporting
• Mechanical aptitude is required
• Ability to use and understand basic Microsoft Office products
• Must possess a valid driver license

• Most of the work performed will be in a climate controlled lab on concrete floors
• Will also work outside on uneven surfaces while collecting samples from manufacturing plants and job sites
• Must be able to lift 50lbs multiple times per day
