Job Description
Overview: Jackson & Coker is a top healthcare staffing firm with nationwide reach, specializing in locum tenens (temporary staffing), locums-to-permanent and telehealth staffing. Description: The QA Analyst is responsible for applying expertise in tools and methodologies to develop the requirements, procedures and guidelines for the testing of all technical applications and systems prior to deployment to ensure they are performing according to specifications and free of errors. This includes defining the test plan and strategy, testing environment, scenarios, scripts and data required, executing tests, and reporting on findings.
  • Responsible for writing and executing comprehensive requirements-based test plans to ensure overall product quality and usability
  • Applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products
  • Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality.
  • Supports and adheres to realistic, accurate, and complete product release schedules and plans
  • Accurately and appropriately documents all defects
  • Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources
  • Understands complex business processes and is able to develop test cases that will validate the strength of the code in a logical and comprehensible manner
  • Develop manual test cases primarily using Azure DevOps
  • Identify, analyze, and document problems with program functionality, data, performance, online screen, or content
  • Work with other team members to plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope/delivery dates
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
  • Create metrics and increasing test coverage using the automated system

  • Relational database and SQL experience a plus.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology a plus.
  • Experience with TFS / MSDN Test Manager a plus.

Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years in a Quality Assurance Analyst role. Ability to write SQL queries and understand databases. Competent to perform complex QA functions; has knowledge of QA methodologies and techniques. Experience in defect tracking, prioritization
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
