Under the general supervision of the Program Manager, the Pyramid Model Coordinator coordinates and facilitates the work of the State Leadership Team ( SLT ), as well as supports the work of the professional development network as they provide training and program coaching. This includes planning and facilitating monthly meetings of the SLT , providing information & resources to Master Cadre members, serving as a liaison among the professional development network & SLT and facilitating on-going communication, as well as gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and preparing reports. In this role, the Pyramid Model Coordinator will provide direct supervision to the Pyramid Model Program Implementation Coach and the Behavior Specialist. This position requires frequent travel throughout the state (when applicable) and the delivery of services outside of typical business hours (evenings, weekends). This position is a full-time, 12-month, salaried temporary grant-funded position and is dependent on available funding. This position is home-based.
Job responsibilities include:
In coordination with the Program Manager, the Pyramid Model Coordinator will facilitate and support the work of the State Leadership Team ( SLT ) to include: planning & facilitating monthly meetings of the team, preparing materials for the team, providing summaries and evaluations of meetings, and facilitating policies & systems development of the team to meet the scope of work as outlined in the contract.
In accordance with university policies & procedures, the Pyramid Model Coordinator will provide direct supervision to the Pyramid Model Program Implementation Coach and the Behavior Specialist to meet the scope of work outlined in the contract.
The Pyramid Model Coordinator manages the day-to-day work of the initiative and, in collaboration with the SLT , facilitates the evaluation of all components of the initiative by developing appropriate evaluation procedures, gathering data, analyzing & summarizing data, and preparing reports to describe how the activities in scope of work are implemented.
In coordination with SCPI team & SLT , the Pyramid Model Coordinator will support the work of the professional development network as they provide training & program coaching by providing information and resources to Master Cadre members, facilitating on-going communication, and serving as a liaison among network members to support the scope of work outlined in the contract.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Master’s degree and 5 years training and development experience, or bachelor’s degree and 7 years training and development experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree and 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, Early Intervention, or a related field. Priority will be given to those with knowledge and experiences with the Pyramid Model framework and practices.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
A successful applicant will be experienced in early childhood settings, as well as have experience with training & coaching, project coordination, and evaluation & data collection. The applicant should have knowledge of policies and systems that affect early childhood services; knowledge of effective adult learning and professional development strategies; knowledge of effective collaboration strategies including effective meeting strategies; the ability to plan and coordinate projects and supervise & advise staff members; the ability to make presentations and prepare reports; and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
