Pump Assembly/Tester

Continental Hydraulics of Shakopee, MN is looking to hire a full-time Pump Assemly/Tester. We are currently hiring an Pump Assembly/Tester that is responsible for the sub-assemble, assemble and test the broad range of hydraulic pump components.

Essential Functions

• Use tools necessary for assembly.
• Read and understand assembly drawings or blue prints.
• Assemble/test different size pumps within either Bosch pump groups or the PVR, HPV group.
• Adjust, fit align and match parts. Identify and correct malfunctions.
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure successful completion and delivery of operational needs.
• Participate in the maintenance and adherence to efforts by the company to reduce and eliminate any unnecessary cost overruns on damaged equipment.
• Actively participate and support workplace safety.
• Work safely. Meet customer quality expectations.
• Train and/or assist co-workers as necessary, and as required by department Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned, required or expected to support effective department operations.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). preference will be given to those with a degree in Hydraulic Fluid

Experience : 1-3 years related experience

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required. Must be able to punch in and out of work and various jobs using the computerized system.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing environment.
