As the Publications Coordinator, you will be responsible for the publication of new and revised scripts and supplemental products for Concord Theatricals (assisting in the care of 10,000 plays and musicals) and handling administrative reporting tasks related to new and revised titles. As the Publications Coordinator, you will be responsible for the publication of new and revised scripts and supplemental products for Concord Theatricals (assisting in the care of 10,000 plays and musicals) and handling administrative reporting tasks related to new and revised titles. Responsibilities: What you'll do:
- Proof and prepare new and revised scripts in InDesign and Adobe Pro
- Liaise with authors and implement their edits for new and revised publications
- Conduct script/score comparisons for musicals and plays with music
- Help resolve customer issues with back-catalog scripts
- Create title-related reports in Salesforce
- Administrative support for the Music & Publications department
- Coordinate with Business Affairs on third-party material in scripts
- 2 - 3 years of editorial work, or a BA in dramaturgy, theatre, literature, or other liberal arts discipline
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Very strong editing skills in both Spanish and English
- Experience with Excel or comparable software/application (e.g. Google Sheets)
- Experience working in a team and juggling multiple editorial projects
- Self-motivated to be able to work remotely when needed
- Enjoy working as part of a team and be willing to support other team members when help is needed
- Knowledge of theatre professionals, including established and emerging playwrights and composers
- Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Pro preferred
- Experience with reading music, or dramaturgy experience with musicals preferred
